The War on Humanity



 A collection of tweets on Gaza

I one asked a German friend to imagine that Gaza was inhabited by Jews and that those placing their city under a blockade were something else, bombing their civilians. Her answer was that she couldn’t, and that to me epitomizes the problem we have today. The idea that you are not even able to do the mental exercise of imagination speaks volumes of where we are now. I think that is the current problem with those supporting the genocide in Gaza.

Peace is not possible if the oppressor continues to oppress, no matter how much everyone in power convinces us that the status quo is fair.

The Ukrainians and Belarusians supporting the ethnic cleansing to be carried out by Israel in Gaza are the most baffling to me.The people in Ukraine have every right to fight for their freedom against those trying to take away their land and agency. Now replace Ukraine with Palestine.Western governments are Ukranian when it comes to Ukraine but are Russians when it comes to Palestine. There are people who support Ukraine because they are principled, there are people who support Ukraine because they are racist. Palestine helps us understand who is which.

Mainstream western punditry will pretend that Israel hasn't been an occupier, hasn't been attacking Palestinians, hasn't been committing injustices and will just condemn Palestinians, but what's new, they offer the same story no matter what actually happens on the ground. So many people support Palestine in western countries but their governments and media make it impossible to voice their support to influence the mainstream. People in the west can lose their jobs and likelihood if they support Palestine. Many live in fear.

My solidarity with Palestine grew not because they're Arabs and not because of any other mainstream narrative but because Israel has occupied their land, deprived them of basic rights and continuously oppress Palestinians. My solidarity is against injustice. Always.

The EU stands with Israel. The EU strongly condemns Palestinians breaking out of their cage and refusing to suffer and die in silence.

Bernie condemns Palestinians for breaking out of their cage. I suppose he just thinks that everyone should stand up against those depriving them of dignity and a better life but with the exception of Palestinians.

The dividing line in the Israel - Palestine conflict is this. Do you accept all people in this region to have equal rights no matter their ethnicity, race or religion?

Of course the west supports apartheid, they always have. Germany has kind of outlawed BDS, a form of peaceful resistance against Israel's continued abuses against Palestine and Palestinians.

Israel retaliates disproportionately, kill civilians, commit war crimes and the international community will continue to support Israel and never lift a finger to hold them accountable. But that happens anyway whether Palestinians attacked them or not.

Collective punishment, carnage, indiscriminate killings, targeting civilians, cutting off electricity, cutting off water. The west cheers on.

I guess the world is now getting ready to sanction a final solution regarding Palestinians.So much for the 'Never Again' motto.

Funny thing, when Israel retaliates and commits the most heinous crimes, the trope "has a right to defend itself" continues to echo. When Palestinians respond to decades of oppression, international law is invoked. The fact that people say Israel has a right to defend itself but Palestine does not, is one of the most racist bigoted tropes of our time.

Logic won't win an argument but the least we can do is have a sound moral position. This means that we can't ignore things at will. Occupation factors into every analysis. Ignoring it will turn Palestinians into aggressors, including it will turn them to freedom fighters.

Many are citing international law to condemn the attack on Israel, but the greater majority ignore international law when it applies to Israel. They don't recognize the right of Palestinians to fight for freedom and turn a blind eye to Israel targeting children and journalists.

We live in a world that legitimizes some types of murder and criminalizes others. What a petty fight to determine what is the moral way of taking a life.

There are two main reasons why people support Israel's apartheid practices and settler colonialism. Ignorance or racism or a combination of both. In Germany they can be combined with guilt.

People are describing the events of last Saturday as an attack, but in reality it's best described as a prison break. Now the wardens are bombing up the open air prison they created, like they would a riot, except with no obligation to keep the prisoners alive.

I think the people who understand the plight of Palestinians most are Jews, when the world had turned their back on them and masses cheered for their eradication. I hope one day it will be recognized how wrong it is now as it was back then to cheer for their oppression and death.

EU aid to Palestine is conditioned on them being slaughtered in silence.

I agree with everyone about not targeting civilians, but what I find baffling is shifting the focus to it only when it happens to Israelis and completely ignore it when it's happening to Palestinians. Israel does this a lot more and consistently gets away with it.


First Europe went after the Jews, now they go after the Palestinians. Many today wonder how people in the past could support genocide. Those who support the indiscriminate killing of Palestinians can find the answer within themselves.

Funny to see people trusting the same journalists and outlets that claimed Iraq was building a nuclear bomb.

The people who condemned the entirety of Gaza to death because of false reports of beheaded babies, do nothing to condemn the targeting of children and paramedics by Israel's strikes. It's as if they're only looking for excuses to justify the murder of Palestinians.

Berlin police violently put a child in cuffs yesterday on behalf of Israel. These people are capable of becoming monsters in an instant and they raise a flag of righteousness while they do this. It should be sickening to the world but the world is thirsty for blood these days.

The license for genocide is when those who are seen to uphold any kind of morality stop caring about any of it. Do not be complicit in the genocide planned for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.

After all the years of fighting, the real demand that can end this is equal rights for all. It seems like not a lot to ask, but in reality it's asking for the impossible.

If this was a different topic, some people would have asked for Joe Biden to be impeached for his brazen lies.

The British Foreign Minister James Cleverly stood by while his counterpart dehumanized Palestinian civilians. What a horrible racist.


We are witnessing ethnic cleansing in the making, I hope it is averted as people realize they are repeating the ugliest history of the world.

Western powers are lying, censoring, arresting, oppressing anyone who offers a balanced perspective about Palestine and with all the war mongering and support of ethnic cleansing, terrorizing people who have a different view point and yet they dare call others terrorists.

Amnesty's Crisis Evidence Lab has verified that Israeli military units striking Gaza are equipped with white phosphorus artillery rounds. We are investigating what appears to be the use of white phosphorus in Gaza, including in a strike near a hotel on the beach in Gaza City.

Europe had the blood of Jews on their hand. Now they have the blood of Palestinians on their hand.

You think that permitting Israel to killing Palestinians in mass will undo the mass murder of Jews that's embedded in Europe's history? It won't and it will just add to the list of atrocities perpetrated by Europeans.

A shit ton of corrections from news outlets and the Whitehouse about spreading the lies about beheaded babies, yet none of them are calling for Israel to cancel their ethnic cleansing plan. Racism goes on, don't let facts get in the way.

Israelis should be ashamed that the same rhetoric used to annihilate Jews is being used by Israel against Palestinians.

Western leaders are probably thinking, let's support ethnic cleansing now and then throw money at academic programs that study our atrocious history later.

End the occupation. End apartheid. Free all prisoners on all sides. Equal rights for all.

We Really Need To Get People To Dinner - Erdogan Not Hungry

The world's bias has become blatant. This was evident at the World Economic Forum in Davos during a debate about Gaza. As is known, Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan left the debate and alluded that he may never return. This was of course after he was told there was no time for him to respond to Mr. Peres of Israel, who had 25 minutes to talk. Erdogan said that talked only half as much and that and that he wanted a chance to respond.

 

The moderator in his wisdom had a reason for the insignificant Gaza debate to end without response, "We really do need to get people to dinner," he said.

 

Dinner is more important than silly responses to the infallible Israel. I don't know what Erdogan was thinking, the moderator is right. If he had allowed Erdogan to respond, he would have been anti-semitic. Well done moderator, you displayed a sense of fairness that the whole world agrees to. I thought moderators should be impartial, but I know now that being biased is the true way to moderate. In any case, shame on Erdogan for walking away rather than just take the beating silently like Gaza.

 

Is it me, or does it seem that the world is becoming very subjective when it comes to dealing with the Israeli problem. It has become like religion even to the atheists of the west, it's a topic that cannot be approached. It has become a Holocaust, its facts never questioned.

 

Does the world realize how stupid it is? Does BBC realize how its viewed now? It has completely sold out, and I'm not sure how its viewers can trust it again. I mean, every time I hear a piece of news, or not hear it, I'll be wondering if it's Israeli pressure, or some other kind of pressure we can't see.

 

A policeman in Iceland blew up someone's house. When asked why he did it, he said Hamas was shooting at him from the house. Hamas appears to be a perfect excuse for Israel now. Shoot the schools, it was Khamaas, shoot the children, it was Khamaas. As much as I despite Hamas, it was the closest thing to a democratic election. Israel doesn't like a democracy that doesn't suit it. They say that you can't elect a terrorist government, but that's how they were elected, and I don't see a difference. Maybe having a uniform gives you the right to be a legal terrorist, Hamas should invest some of that money coming as aid and use it to buy uniforms, but that won't really matter much. The world doesn't care about the truth, it cares about Israel.

 

Erdogan did the right thing by walking away. A moderator unfit to moderate needs to be walked out on. He must have been hungry to be thinking of dinner. Does he realize what a fool he's been? I really think he should have been concerned with getting food to the victims in Gaza rather than his guests.

 

Just like the corrupt make their way to the top in Egypt, the violent reach the top of the chain in Israel. The Turkish PM is deemed a hero in his country, but he's not a hero. He's someone who chose to do something about the bias. He chose to walk away. I do believe that this is the only dignified thing to do. It's as simple as walking away.

 

The rest of the world doesn't have the dignity to do that. Israel with its powerful lobby and relentless media has subdued a world we thought was strong. But somewhere within Israel, a strong sense of guilt is palpable within its own people. The saddest part is that there's more hope for Israelis to join the cause for peace, than there is for Arabs to agree on anything. Arabs also use this method of walking out on conferences, but there's no dignity there.

The New Hitler

In a post that I wrote less than a year ago entitled European Guilt, I tried explaining why I thought Israel is backed by America and Europe. They were just thoughts, but I still believe them to be true. But more than that, I'm hoping that my expectations come true as well.


 "Today their hands are against their ears when it comes to the violations of Israel, but history sometimes, just some times, screams the facts much later on. As ironically as the Arabs have become the new Jews, Israel has become the new Hitler. The dead are screaming from beneath the earth for those living to take heed to what has happened to them."

 

There are more dead to scream from their graves, and Israel's Nazi ways are becoming more and more extreme. Nazi - I mean Israeli propaganda has stretched every lie till they all broke. A poor and powerless world was represented by a respected red cross agency that wasn't allowed to do what it does and a UN agency under fire by the IAF using illegal ammunition.

 

Even American reports have dared to finally hint that Israel is keeping press out to commit atrocities. Can the world and particularly the Americans face the fact that they've been hoodwinked for so long?

 

Israel has circulated the same lies over and over again. It's simple to say you've bombed a school because Hamas was firing from there. Who's going to call you a liar when Hamas is the devil himself? It's easy to say that Hamas fired from a hospital. Who's going to question you? Israel has even bombed a UN building, but it doesn't matter, Hamas is the usual scapegoat. I believe that Israel can now safely bomb Disneyland and claim that Hamas was shooting at them from inside.

 

I guess what I'm pondering over is whether this is the start of the collapse of Israel's image in the West. I'm hoping it is just for the sake of the abolition of lies nothing else. Unfortunately, I also know that Israel's media and lobby is as brutal as its military, giving its opponents no choice, and no breaks.

 

There's a chance that the horrible crimes of the Israeli Defence Forces will be buried together with the bodies of innocent women and children. But how long can Israel hide behind a curtain of superiority?

 

Israel ignores the world, thinking its right to safety is above international law, above the will of all nations. Imagine the shock of Americans to finally see that they're being bullied by Israel through a powerful lobby and biased media. I would love to see the look on their face when they realize they're imprisoned by bars made of lies.

 

America thinks it can back Israel because it's the right moral choice, but if the blindfold of a biased media is lifted and the truth of a terrorist Israeli State is unveiled, could America have the guts to end its support for Israel's terrorist ways?

 

The fight against terrorism is closer to America's heart than it had realized. They didn't have to travel to Afghanistan or Iraq to fight terror. They had to travel to their news stations and their media, they had to look into their lobbies and their businesses to find out what terror is all about.

 

I wonder if guilt will catch up with Americans. I wonder if people's minds can change. I wonder if the rest of the world will watch itself be bullied and I wonder if things can change.

The Balfour Declaration


Palestine For The Jews. 

Mr. Balfour has sent the following letter to Lord Rothschild in regard to the establishment of a national home in Palestine for the Jewish people:- 

I have much pleasure in conveying to you, on behalf of his Majesty's Government, the following declaration of sympathy with Jewish Zionist aspirations which has been submitted to and approved by the Cabinet:- 

His Majesty's Government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country. I should be grateful if you would bring this declaration to the knowledge of the Zionist Federation.

And Still the Drums Keep Beating

I've put this up before, but it appears it's worth putting up again, and again. I'm not entirely sure when this poem will stop being relevant.

Enemy Drums


I woke up to the sound of drums,
But it wasn't music, they were bombs,
Yet with precision was the rhythm of their sound,
Every two seconds, three would hit the ground.

Four of my neighbor's five children died,
And the only one that had survived,
Buried his siblings all day long,
Wondering what it was they did wrong.

The sound of bombs muted our own,
And this was no longer for us a home,
But there’s no escape from where we are,
The helping hands and hearts are far.

But it wasn’t that which choked our souls,
To hear the news was like eating burning coals,
Three were wounded from the enemy’s side,
While a hundred of my neighbors died.

Yet the story of those three was written in one big page,
Condemnation was bitter and it was told with such rage,
And the hundred were mentioned in half a line,
All tears for us just had to be dried.

We’re dying but terrorists is what we’re called,
They play their drums, but we’re appalled.
The voices of hundreds who died unheard,
Pleads of wailing mothers deferred.

The news, it burns, it tells their story,
And it seems as though they suffer with glory.
But in our land we’re slaughtered and killed,
And their lust for murder is never fulfilled.

So hear my voice or let me die,
Listen to my truth and decide if it’s a lie,
But don’t keep me waiting for too long,
I’m dead very soon, and I’ll take you along.

I’m a rat in a cage, tortured without end,
The torturer kills and for help he will send,
He'll cry like a victim and torture again,
Strong are his allies and feeble are my friends.

Not a word of those four children was said,
They’re sleeping in their graves, their killers in their beds.
Those innocent dead are criminals in the world’s eyes,
And still the drums keep beating with lyrics made of lies.

European Guilt

Let’s talk about Israel. Israel is a land given to Jews by Europeans. This gift is a result of many years of persecution against Jews, and to say that Europe was not guilty of being anti-Semitic for a very long time would be a complete fallacy. Yes, Europe was guilty of and felt guilty for mistreating Jews and persecuting them for so long. To add salt to an already open and burning wound the Jews were persecuted by Hitler. The Nazi German regime persecuted Jews like no other, but to say that Germany alone persecuted Jews would be a great falsification. Nazi Germany only represented the extremity of persecution already suffered by Jews in Europe. Those persecutions, stove-piped, would not at all have offended other Europeans. However one thing must come to mind when thinking of the guilt that entailed after the extreme persecution of Jews at the hands of Hitler; that Hitler was aggressive against other Europeans.

Yes, that was the turning point and wake up call to Europeans. They were being annihilated and invaded by Germany and they were dubbed inferior to Germans. They felt a tiny tinge of the discrimination and/or persecution that they have been inflicting on Jews. It is only then when they felt that they were in the same boat and realized the horrors of what they had been doing to the Jews.

That is not to say that this guilt wasn’t lingering earlier on, it is evident that ever since the Balfour promise that there was some sort of obligation. However real guilt, the guilt that an entire continent felt was not fully mature till they experienced how horrible it was to be a victim of tyrant racists.

In Germany’s persecution of Jews, Europeans found themselves on the same side as Jews and were able to walk in their shoes for a while. The great sense of European guilt started to build as Hitler became an epitome of racism and persecution. They found that they had to fight against what he stood for and in a sense found out that they had to fight against… what they themselves had been doing for centuries. When they realized that their past itself was their own enemy, embodied in the shape of Hitler and fascism, a great sense of self awareness was born and along with it the guilt and horror of what their extremity might look like.

Perhaps this was the reason that a European and American endorsed Israel emerged. It seemed very appropriate to give back to this persecuted nation something after all the years of tyranny they have endured. However there is one little thing that might be wrong about all this, that in order to ease their guilt, the Europeans have persecuted Palestinians in effect. The real problem is that Europeans are still guilty about Jews and this makes them truly oblivious to the effect Israel has had on Palestinians. The Arabs have now become, in general, the new Jews, only without the current sympathy old Jews are shrouded with. They are looked down upon and persecuted and the great Europeans are making the same mistake over and over again.

Israel has become the biggest bully in the world, and this is not an overstatement. No other country has defied the UN so bluntly. Israel continues to persecute Palestinians systemically, despite being the one nation of all the people in the world that should understand what this means. The world stands by and lets this be.
Why does the world let this be? Is it their guilt towards Jews? Is it disinterest? I don’t have a clear cut answer. Maybe someday there will be another awakening for the world to realize what’s being done to Palestinians.

Do we need another Hitler to put Westerners and Arabs in the same boat so as to realize the shameful ways in which we treat each other? Do we need another wake up call to recognize that the world is falling into the same mistakes relentlessly?

In their discrimination against Arabs Europeans are building up a new guilt that may not take complete form within this lifetime, but they’re setting their children up for a fall. At the rate they’re heading towards a more humanitarian outlook at the other, they will soon realize that they are guilty of failing to practice what they preach. Today their hands are against their ears when it comes to the violations of Israel, but history sometimes, just some times, screams the facts much later on. As ironically as the Arabs have become the new Jews, Israel has become as discriminatory as their oppressors. The dead are screaming from beneath the earth for those living to take heed to what has happened to them.
